Happy Easter Everyone!

Sabrina Severo working with a Pilates Conquer Gravity class in Portobello Edinburgh

I am sitting here thinking about my glorious “Staycation” to come this Easter. Hooray!!!

It has been ages since my visit to Brazil and I’m looking forward to some well deserved ‘me’ time. As much as I LOVE my job, I’m really excited to spend Easter break in the company of my dearest son and my lovely Porty home and people. Just wonderful!!!

Before Easter arrives I have managed to put together some new workshops and ideas for the coming weeks. I have so many dreams and aspirations for the future of my business and my AMAZING clients and I wanted to give you some insight into what I’m thinking.

It is important to me to make Pilates fit into your lifestyle by making it affordable and accessible with mixed group classes. As you surely have noticed, simply taking the time out once or twice a week and focusing on the body and taking it through some movements can be very beneficial. On the other hand I have studied Pilates intensely for many years and learned from some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the UK that Pilates is so much more than group exercise.

Pilates is a physical art form. It’s a body and mind method that needs commitment, understanding and studying in order to perform it well and to be able to experience its real magic and all the benefits it has to offer. I would like to be able to offer my clients the environment where they can learn and explore Pilates more thoroughly and have the support to really change their movement habits. I want to be able to offer an environment where they can gain the understanding that helps to experience Pilates on a deeper level and progress towards a more advanced repertoire in a secure and confident way.

Pilates can be taught so differently depending where you go and claims to be the solution for so many different things. If you have tried different classes you may have found that it is quite a jungle out there! You can be left wondering what on earth the teacher is talking about and if you are doing things right or not. So it can be confusing to understand what Pilates really is, what it can do for you and how best to practice it. So, upon this reflection, I want to thank you all for choosing me to help you in your Pilates journey. I feel very blessed to have such committed clients and I will strive even harder to make PHPT work for each and every one of you. Should you have any feedback, I would really appreciate hearing it.

Happy Egg Hunting Everyone!!

Lots of love,

Sabrina xxx
